This is a wonderful tiny vintage advertising piece which I think is bakelite. It's for 'Ivory' soap and has imprinted on the front Ivory and on the reverse Procter & Gamble. I can only think it is a tiny salesman sample or simply used for advertising. Measures less than 1" long and .5" wide. Caramel color. I also think it would look wonderful as part of an antique doll's dressing and/or washing area. Ivory soap was introduced by Procter & Gamble in 1879.
