we have a very unusual WW2 U.S. Navy Aircraft Transportation goat skin, lined knee length coat. It is the 1st of its sort I've ever seen in over 40 yrs of handling militaria! It is just like the pilots flight jackets but it is lined with simulated fur and is full length and is in very nice condition!!! The leather is very supple and t is no rot in it anyw The stitching is also all good. The satin portion of the upper liner is ripped to the left of the mfg's lable and also near the left arm pit. Both could be easily repaired. It is a size 40.This coat is very heavy and you could really handle LOTS of cold with this baby!The back of the collar is marked U.S.N. & the fake fur collar is in fine shape - no rot of missing fur anywIt was stored properly and has no smell of anything except the great leather that it is made of.Reasonable starting price and NO RESERVE.Bid with confidence as I've been selling on eBay since 1999 and have sold thousands of items and have a fine feedback profile.Please check our other auctions for more interesting items, most found right in mid coast Maine
