This is an elegant, unusually tall Rococo Revival style porcelain ewer with gilt metal mounts. The deep green gound pyriform porcelain body is decorated with a jewel bordered cartouche of a woman in a flowered swing. It rests on a foliate scroll footed base with an elaborate high foliate scroll handle and lip. Unmarked, it is most likely of continental origin and is estimated to date from late 19th to first quarter of 20th c. - 19-20th c.
