Rare Uranium tetrafluoride sample--
Known in the industry as yellowcake or more accurately "green salt" this is a small sample made from, and I stress, un-enriched material. A much rarer form than usually found in individual collections, this form although non-fluorescent is of a blue-green tone not seen in most other types of uranium salts or naturally occurring minerals. Counts per minute are over 3,000 with shield taken off geiger tube using a CDV-700 6B counter, and are over 2,000 with shield on (beta plus gamma, on 10x). If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me and thanks for bidding! Also will be selling in the near future a collection of Fiestaware Radioactive Red items, as well as various test sources for counters or collector's items, including packaged thorium mantles, other uranium salts, antique Crookes tubes, x-ray tubes, as well as rare mineral and element samples from my personal collection. All winning bids will be put into a business start up dealing with fusion technology research as well as to help paying off student loans and finishing my education. Thanks again for all of your help. With Regards!!!
