Inert US Army M18A1 Claymore land mine. This is not the practice version, this is the actual high explosive mine. The explosive has been removed but everything else is present, including the fragmentation balls and the two blasting cap holders. The mine is marked "Lot LOP-13-21 8-75" on the back. The mine is in excellent condition, but t are two spots on the backplate w some type of solvent was spilled on it and softened the fiberglass. The inside of the backplate has been coated with clear epoxy in those two areas, and that has hardened the fiberglass, but the spots are noticeable. While the practice versions of this mine are available from time to time, the HE version with the fragmentation balls is rare. Tfore, I have put a starting bid on this item of $100.00. In accordance with eBay requirements, all explosive material has been removed and the item has been filled with non-removable inert material or altered in other ways to prevent it from being used as an explosive device. Buyer chooses manner of shipment (USPS Insured Priority Mail or USPS Insured Parcel Post) and pays only the actual cost of shipping. Insurance is required . Shipping weight is 3 pounds. 3 day inspection and return privilege provided the item is returned postpaid in the same condition as sent. Payment by PayPal, money order, or cashier's check in U.S.
