Fresh to market!!!! I am currently listing many items from a very large old estate collection. Owner was a serious collector for many years of antique military , Indian, and western material and often purchased material from old time collections and museums that were closing. He also often lent material to museums for displays....Don't miss this rare chance to own some GREAT historical artifacts from the Indian Wars and the Civil War..CHECK MY OTHER AUCTIONS and keep checking as more material will be listed over the next month. I am not an expert on material from this era but will do mybest to try and describe and identify these items.....if I get it wrong I am sorry..I will welcome any comment from those of you out t who study this material............please use your own knowledge and ask questions if needed
This is a really great item...I think this is an Indian War period ammo pouch maybe for a Springfield Trap door Carbine or similiar rifles...definately not something new...although it looks like someone shined up the brass in the last 20 years or so...has Cavalry crossed sabers and an A ....A company ???? on front. Inside has an open space for box of ammo with wooden blocks that form sides on each end. Condition is SUPER nice ..appears all complete with no flaws. Looks like it was made to be worn accross the shoulder like a bandolier A GREAT piece of history ..if only it could talk... Buyer to pay $9 S&H plus insurance if desired..(if you don't insure I am not responsible for loss damage etc.) in CONUS other based on costs...all auction final unless item description in gross error.
