US troops shivered in the cold wet monsoon in Vietnam's Central Highlands. Stocks of the new M-65 field jacket began arriving in country in 1969 and it became an instant favorite with the troops. The M-65 had an integral hood, stowed inside the collar, a wind and rain resistant shell, and Velcro wrist and throat closures. This Vietnam M-65 field jacket is dated 1974, size Large Long, and is in excellent condition. It has slight soiling on the left sleeve and at the center hem (pictured).
