US Army Special Forces troopers troops deployed to Vietnam in the 1960s in uniforms unsuited for the vicious guerilla war they faced. Stocks of "duck hunter" spot camouflage were quickly acquired and rushed to the war zone. Much of it came from foreign manufacturers of hunting clothing. In addition to Special Forces troopers, helicopter pilots also needed suitable camouflage clothing. This 100% cotton spot camo helicopter pilot's flight suit is in excellent condition, size Large with early 60s flat rimmed green buttons. Manufactured by Nesco, a noted Hong Kong based producer of camouflage clothing, it features two button closure chest pockets and button adjustable wrists for comfort inside the cockpit. We are showing a picture of a Huey pilot dressed in a camouflage flight suit of this type. A great relic of "Uncle Sam in Vietnam ".
