US Army Vintage Officers Sam Browne Belt by Colt

This is a Cordovan color Sam Browne Belt made by Colt from the WWII era. This belt has been in storage for at least sixty years in the original box in a cool dry area. Included in the set is a waist belt, shoulder belt, buckle, sabre chain slide and polishing cloth. The cloth also serves as a protective covering for the waist belt. I don't believe that this belt has ever been worn as I found it unassembled. The belt is in excellent condition with the exception of a snap on the shoulder belt which has pulled away from the belt and green tarnish on the brass buckles and rings. (see photos). I believe this is due to age and not abuse. The belt and box is stamped size 34 . The waist belt is 44" long, the shoulder belt is 38" long, the polishing cloth is 52" long. The original box shows wear and discoloration from the years of storage.
