Up for bid is an original lockplate for a Civil War Greene (British type) Carbine. This Lockplate remains in superb condition with brilliant case coloring remaining. It is marked Mass Arms Co Chicopee Falls USA 1856. It is also marked with a British Crown over a VxR and also Maynard's Patent Sept 22 1845. Internal parts look original to me with all parts retaining good colors. Lockplate remains in EXCELLENT PLUS condition. Please see our other M1841 "Mississippi Rifle" parts and other US musket parts currently on Ebay and we bought a severely sporterized musket and are parting it out. Win more than one and we're happy to combine shipping. Buyer to include $5.50 shipping and handling for USPS priority shipping with delivery confirmation. Insurance is optional at the high bidders discretion and should only add a couple of dollars. My terms are a one week, no questions asked return of your money, less shipping if you should be unhappy with your purchase for any reason. I would ask that the item be returned in the same condition it was sent and that the buyer pay for return shipping costs. We accept PAYPAL, money orders and personal checks.
