The Waltham watch company made these compasses for military use by pilots and were used in WWI and WWII. The shiny brass outer case is in fantastic shape. T is one very, very slight ding on the back cover. The needle still settles on north. The lid opens just past a right angle and pops open with authority. The crystal and compass face are very clean. Overall this is probably in near mint condition. A small black plastic display stand is included but not pictured. Sorry for the glare. Pictures are of the actual item so please view them closely before you bid and feel free to ask questions. I will combine shipping costs. 270 The free listing tool.
