's an authentic WW II combination of Unaltered early Hood Rubber Low Pressure Liner and original early McCord fixed bale M-1 helmet lot 54 A , with split front seam and stainless steel rim, as found with original web chinstrap with brass fastener in excellent non-frayed condition, and corked OD finish. T are no cracks or stress points anyw. The attached Low Pressure Hood Rubber Company Liner has silver HR mark, has OD cotton suspension and full headband with contractors name, and nape strap, also removable leather chinstrap , one end of which has lost the fastener buckle and clasp, and has Original OD paint.. T is a different name and sgt stripes on outside face of liner with marking pen or pencil. The head band has gi's name, Has OD A washers. Hood Rubber is the rarest of tthe liners lin as they made the least amount some 200,000 plus units.This liner has NO cracks,chips, or holes.
