Overall bayonet has been plated for and may have been done for parade use. Blade retains around 85% plated finish. Blade marked SA 1918, flaming bomb, US, and serial number. Guard and pommel retain around 75% plated finish. Grips may have been changed at time of plating and are bulky. Locking mechanism functions perfectly and will mount of rifle.
