The M49 has seen several decades of general purpose use as a daytime observation device. Its most common application is in the scout/sniper section of the infantry battalion w it is used to detect and identify targets. T his is a rather early example with excellent bright, clear optics and original front and rear screw on lens covers. Original OD finish is scratched and worn, but overall about 85%+ original finish remains--see photos. Buyer pays actual postage.Please feel free to ask questions or to request additional photos of any of my sale items. No bogus "handling" or "packing" charges.
