Marked, "MILITARY STEREO 6 X 30, U.S. NAVAL GUN FACTORY OPTICAL SHOP ANNEX, ROCHESTER, N.Y., U.S.A., SIGNAL CORPS U.S. ARMY, SERIAL NO. EE 70072." Leather neck strap. Brown, hard leather case, marked, "U.S. NAVAL GUN FACTORY CROWN OPTICAL ANNEX SHOP ROCHESTER, N.Y." Working compass set into center of case lid. Back & bottom of case, neatly marked in ink, "Allan J. Kennedy, U.S. Army (a career officer, Kennedy served in WWI, China (1920s), Panama, & England, during WWII. Center hinge a bit tight. Individual eye adjustments not tight. Good optics.
