is a nice condition what I call a US Navy Chief Charge Book and Case with signing book inside containing some art work and comments from fellow sailors. The case is made of wood with several attatched Navy insignia. The insignia are pressed into the wood and not glued. The case is about 12" by 10". This was the charge book the Chief selectee had to carry around with him from the time he was selected until the time he was initiated as a Chief Petty Officer. during the initiation the selectee went before a kangaroo court and had to answer all charges that had been written in his charge book. T are hundreds of comments written in the book. Most of the 191 pages have something written on them.
