Since 1938 the type G-1 flight jacket has been associated with the most elite pilots of the United States Navy. The Type G-1 is made in the United States from genuine dark brown goatskin with official detail, and inside map pocket. Military spec zipper and fasteners ensure durability even with the most rugged kind of wear. · This is an actual jacket supplied to U.S. Navy aviators. This modern day G-1 is made of goatskin with synthetic pile collar (faux fur) to military specification. The lining is nylon oxford with wool rib knit cuffs and waistband. This particular jacket was issued I purchased in a navy gov demill auction the navy neatly removed the usn wind flap it has been in gov storage. It is in GREAT condition! Very nice. VERY CLEAN!!! T has been patches, name tag velcro just ad your tag, the tag in photo is not included , and has us flag,, vf-74 bedevilers f-14 patches Mil tag reads: Jacket, Flyer's, Intermediate, Type G-1, Size 46, Mil;-J-7823E (AS), BRILL BROS., INC., 8415-00, DLA100-86-c-0451. T are some scratches in the leather from ware, patch and velcro stitching and the zipper is like new and all snaps work perfectly. T are repairs see photos of cuff .
