You are bidding on a US Navy USN WWII Shore Patrol Uniform. Local Estate Find belonging to C.M. Porter. Who after his Service with the US Navy Became a Roanoke Police Officer. You are bidding on the Hat, Shirt and Pants, T are several moth spots, but only a few, very light for being Wool. As you can see in photos t are several on the front of cap. The US Navy used shore patrolmen as police ashore. They broke up bar fights, maintained dockside security. Shore patrolmen wore regular dress blue uniforms, with the SP armband and white canvas leggings.
