Up for bid is US Trapdoor Springfield M1873 cutdown rifle stock. Stock is 30 1/16" long from top of butt to tip. You can see the filled in ramrod channel, but whoever cut this down did a pretty good job and even inletted the stock for a "carbine" band spring. Stock has a visible cartouche in that you can see the SWP and 18 but I can't make out the last two numbers. The circle P is VERY faint, but t Perfect for your "carbine" length barreled action. Stock is solid with only light dings/dents, but no cracks or splits. Attractive looking stock. Overall condition is a VERY GOOD. Buyer to include $12 shipping and handling for USPS priority shipping with delivery confirmation. Insurance is optional at the high bidders discretion and should only add a couple of dollars. My terms are a one week, no questions asked return of your money, less shipping if you should be unhappy with your purchase for any reason.
