's a Big lot of USGI Vietnam War era field gear, a helmet, some clothing, etc. Long list so please bear with the long read. Defects if any are noted in parenthesis:Coat, Hot Weather, slant pocket, OD cotton ripstop, size Large-Reg., excellent (this may be reproduction, made by D-G's MFG, INC. Pembroke N.C.). Tag reads: Coat, Man's, Cotton, W/R Rip-Stop, Poplin, OG-107, Class 1-100% Cotton DSA-100-68-C-2828-Sidran Sportswear, Inc. excellent shape (The DSA Number was inked over long ago and the DSA # is hard to read but visible), ERDL Coat, Hot Weather, Camouflage Pattern, size Large-Reg., 8415-00, No DSA #, ERDL Trousers, Hot Weather, Camouflage Pattern, size Large-Reg., 8415-00, No DSA# (missing the tww buttons on the back pockets), M1 Helmet, complete, Westinghouse liner, headband dated 1970, has nape strap, undated but well marked Mitchell Pattern reversible camo cover w/correct elastic band, chin straps, all in excellent shape, M1956 Pistol Belt, M, vertical weave, marked but can't make out a date, M1956 Pistol Belt, L, horizontal weave, can't see a date (a little stretching but not bad), Field Pack (LC-1) Nylon DSA 100-74-C-1434, like new w/seperate rubberized inserts, no frame, M1956 Field Pack (butt pack) 1962 dated, M1943 E-Tool w/cover as used by USMC in Vietnam, 1944 dated shovel and cover (two samll fray holes on top edge of cover), 1 inert practice frag grenade, Poncho, OD, Coated Nylon Twill dated 1968 in excellent shape, 2 heavy OD cotton duffle bags, one dated 1951, the other undated, M1956 Combat suspenders, Long, ink stamp is faded but looks like 1957 dated, M1956 Combat suspenders, Long, well marked but not dated, M1956 E-Tool cover 1961 dated, 5 Universal Pouches for M14/M16 rifle magazines, all nice and early '60's dated, 2 clip pouches for the M1911 .45 cal. Pistol (markings too faint to read), Case, Maintenance Equipment Small Arms for M16A1 Rifle, DSA-100-72-C-4534, complete except for LSA oil bottle, 3 cotton web M1 rifle slings, M1967 nylon 20rd magazine pouch for M16 mags, 1969 dated (missing support strap), M1956 canteen cover w/canteen & cup, cover dated 1962, canteen dated 1962, cup dated 1965, M!956 canteen cover w/canteen & cup, cover date illegible, canteen dated 1956, cup dated 1965, M1956 canteen cover w/1966 dated plastic canteen, cover date illegible, M1967 nylon canteen cover w/plastic canteen, cover dated 1975, canteen dated 1976, M1956 first aid/compass pouch w/1967 dated sealed bandage, M1956 first aid/compass pouch w/sealed camo field dressing, Maintenance Manual for the M16A1 rifle, cartoon book, still sealed in plastic and dated 1970, M7 bayonet w/M8A1 scabbard, Milpar manufacture, M1950 Case, Parachutists, Individual Weapons, 1968 dated, complete and minty, Jungle First Aid Kit mostly complete, carrying case marked Land Manufacturing Inc. DSA 120-67-C-5101, even has the little typewritten inventory sheet, from which I could determine that the water purification tablets are missing, but it has two extra sodium chloride packets, 1 pair of Altama green top Jungle Boots, size 12W (these are newer production, but exacting to VN era boots). That is about it except for some extra alice clips for the equipment that I will throw in. This is all nice stuff that can be used for re-enacting, collecting, display, or to use in the field.
