DESCRIPTION: You are looking at a US ww2 manual FM 23-36 for the Colt .45 m1917 and smith and Wesson m1917 revolvers. VG condition with some light oil staining on front and rear cover, no tears or missing pages. T is no water damage. 20 Oct 1941 date. RETURNS: I will allow a return for any reason provided you email me before you send the item back so that I can confirm the return and the item is received by me within 14 days of original postmark from my address. You must get insurance for the item and add tracking for our mutual protection. If you do follow these simple instructions you have violated the conditions of this sale and I am not bound to honor your return. You will receive your bid price back once I receive the item back, I will not refund any shipping costs. If the item shows up on my doorstep prior to us discussing the return I will not honor the return. POSTAGE : I will mail anyw in the continental US via priority mail for $4.90. That includes $0.85 for tracking. That is for items weighing less than one pound. For more weight I use the standard USPS rates for the actual weight with box and packing and add $0.85 for a tracking label. Ike jackets usually run about 4-5 ½ pounds. For small items such as patches the cost will be 1.00 mailed in a 1 st Class envelope. For items over $100.00 you must use insurance at the standard postal service rates. If you want insurance you must arrange prior to shipping. The tracking is the verification that the item was sent. If it does not arrive you will need to open an inquiry with the postal service. If you requested insurance you can resolve that with them as well. Please read the USPS insurance and claim details as they do not cover everything. International postage will be higher and I will not devalue the item by indicating a lesser value on the customs declaration. I can mail small items using a global priority mailer for either 5.25 or 9.00 depending on the size of the item. I can also use the variable global priority mailing box for items up to 4 pounds. PACKAGING : I will package the item to ensure that no damage happens during shipping. I typically use bubble wrap and peanut filler in a larger box if the item is subject to damage in transient. For bendable items such as documents and photos I will use a sturdy envelope with cardboard liner on each side to prevent damage, or I will use a priority mailing box. For patches without bullion I will put it in an envelope with cardboard to prevent bending. GENERAL: I offer a 100% guarantee on my items in that they are authentic and in the condition that I described above. Although I have been collecting since 1978 I still have much to learn about WW2 militaria. If you find anything incorrect in my listing or description please let me know and if your logic is sound I will post the message for others to evaluate.
