is a great US WWII Army 745th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion Hat with the original DI. The hat was made by Dorfman-Pacific, Inc., Oakland, California, still in business which attests to the high quality of this hat. DORFMAN PACIFIC HATS Dorfman Pacific, Inc. was founded in 1921 with the concept that retailers would support a hat business offering high quality products backed by a commitment to very strong customer service. Dorfman Pacific has been successful because of strict adnce to this philosophy. Today, Dorfman Pacific's mission is to provide unsurpassed level of service and quality with a long term commitment of our customer satisfaction. The hat is size 6 7/8, 100% wool. Other than some mothing on the brim, it is in wonderful condition. The DI, brown hat band, and gold acorn rope are all in excellent condition. The leather neckstrap is also in wonderful shape, no cracking. The sweatband remains in good condition as well, starting to dry out. The enameled 745th AAA DI, with the motto, Forward Without Fear, was manufactured by Monarch Mtl Products, Inc, M12, New York. It has a wavy pattern all over the back.
