You are bidding on USA Comics #1, published by Timely in 1941. This key book features the origin of Major Liberty, Rockman by Basil Wolverton, the first appearance of the Whizzer by Al Avison, The Defender & Rusty, Jack Frost and The Young Avenger. Add to that a great Nazi cover by Simon and Kirby and you have a classic Golden Age comic. The book is in VG condition and would grade higher if not for the few small pieces out of the spine (see picture) and a tiny burn mark? at the top of the cover. Otherwise the book is tight, cover and centerfold attached and the pages are cream and very supple with no rips or tears.Buyer pays $12.00 Priority shipping and insurance within the U.S. only.
