I will not make this USA map until you have purchased the map. So you can specify what you would exactly like. If you want the map a certain way, let me know how you want the map to look and I will be happy to create it!!! I will have your map done and shipped to you in 4-5 weeks, thanks for your patience. The pictures you are looking at are some of my previous art works I made by hand. Since I will not start making this USA map until you have purchased the map. You can tell me what you would prefer. Like a darker stain or a lighter, or even specify exactly what stain you want me to use. If you want me to paint the backround a color like Black, Red, Blue or even Pink its your call. I can even cut the map out just leaving a inch or two backing, which some people prefer. Alaska and Hawaii would be on a seperate pieces of wood. I also do a total cut out version were t is no backround at all. It is total cut out around the map, Lake Michigan is even cut out!! VERY NICE BOTH WAYS!!! I don't charge for the cutout version but t is a charge of $50 more if you want the planks for a backboard. (see 2nd picture) The planks are alot thicker and more sturdy. The map would be precisely hand carved to exact shape of each state Hours of time went into these maps because of the cutting detail. Mounted on a (framed optional) 1/2" stained backing which measures 32" High x 48" Long, or cut out if desired!! Also could have a wood mount attached to the back. So it's already to hang. Its your option!!!!!!!!! Would make a nice gift for that special someone who is so hard to buy for?! Or for yourself in your family room, behind your wet bar and/or at work in your office....or w ever you would like to show it off!!!!!!!!! This USA map will be beautifully colored with numerous of different plates. Don't miss out on this one of a kind license plate map!!!!!! Insurance Included!!!!!!! Please closely observe my previous maps shown. Notice the cutting detail of ever state. Every little angle and curve are cut to match the state exactly!! Now look closely at the cutting detail of the other maps sold on ebay. The cut types are boxed or triangular. They do not show the detail of the actual state. Not very good detail. Which I think DETAIL is very inportant. MY CUTOUT STYLE MAP WAS ON THE TV SHOW "ONE TREE HILL" ON THE SEASONS LAST EPISODE- 19 MAY 08.
