This is a genuine WW2 issue US Army Air Force A-14 oxygen mask. These were used by fighter and bomber crews for high altitude flying. This type replaced the earlier A-9 and A-10 types. This example is a size Medium "Arctic" version made in August 1944 by the Ohio Chemical & Manufacturing Co. The mask is in excellent condition with no cracking rubber, no rust, the straps are like new, and the hose shows no cracking. I am including an original box and a brand new unissued 6 foot fabric hose extension still in its original box. I am also including the original instructions that came with the mask. The mask box does have some water damage on the top flap (see photo). All in all, this mask is almost like new. Don't pass this one up if you want a prime example A-14.
