Rare USAF F-4 Phantom II Fire Control Joy Stick. Also used by the US Navy, and Marine Corps This is a control stick I acquired in 1975 while I was stationed at George AFB , CA. has all the buttons and switches. Made by Guardian Electric Manufacturing. On the handle near the upper button is the s/n 7522508. At the base is molded in : "Guardian Elect., 73949 Assy A210-9566709-00 On the side of the stick is "G" in a shield, for Guardian. This control stick is from a McDonnell-Douglas F-4 Phantom II, and unique only to this Fighter , This is a truly a rare item, from the cockpit of the F-4 phantom II. This weapon system was the primary aircraft used by both the US Navy and US Air force. In service from 1960 to 1996, it was eventually replaced by the F-16 Falcon, F15 Eagle, F-18 Hornet and F-14 Tomcat. Wow !! It took 4 different airplanes to replace one. How about that. !! The F-4 was the primary Fighter used during the entier Viet Nam War. Own a piece of history.
