USAF BULLION MISSILEMAN MISSILE BADGE INSIGNIA LARGE SERVICE DRESS UNIFORM SIZE MADE IN JAPAN For auction is a beautiful bullion embroidered USAF Missileman Badge. The badge was produced in Japan. It had a label on the rear saying Japan but has fallen off and is gone. One can see the residue w the label once was located. This is the large size badge produced for the USAF blue service dress uniform, NOT MESS DRESS. The badge is in very good condition, measures approximately 2 5/8 inches in height, and has two clutch fasteners. The material surrounding the badge is blue colored to match the service dress uniform. In 1996 this badge changed to the Missile Maintenance Badge, however, by that point, bullion was no longer allowed on USAF uniforms. Please see the illustrations and email if you have questions.
