Hello Everyone!!! What we have is a pretty sweet Sierra Inc. Custom HGU-2 helmet, complete with MBU-5 mask, I found this dude about a year ago in a surplus store in SoCal. When I found it, it was in pretty rough shape, but it cleaned up pretty well and looks dead sexy. A little about the helmet; has the pilot's name and callsign on the inside, is complete in every way, and comes with the mask. As you can see, it's in pretty good shape, from what I can find, it appears to be from the 561st Tachical Fighter Squadron, from around 1982-6 time frame. The 561st used to fly the F-4G in the 1980's and this helmet looks to be ALSE customized with a leather edgeroll, custom poured leather liner and earcups, the visor cover looks really good, it's a bit dinged up, so I'm assuming its original, but I'm not 100% sure, The shell itself has a few dings & scratches, and the visor is a bit scratched, so it looks to have been flown. Either way, it's a pretty sweet set. The set is in pretty good shape, but like I said, shows some wear and it has that helmet "odor" to it, especially the mask. The last thing I want to do is sell this one, but display space is getting limited, so this one is going on the chopping block. Alright! What's included: One Sierra Inc. Custom HGU series flight helmet, size Large. One MBU-5/p mask size Small The display read more
