AEROEMBLEM proudly presents for auction this rare emblem for the 50th MILITARY AIRLIFT SQUADRON, used - but in good condition, 2.5" Wide X 3" High size, partial embroidery, with embroidered edge and loose weave mesh backing. The predecessor unit to the 50th MAS - using the same patch design - was assigned to the 1502nd Air Transport Wing at Hickam AFB, Hawaii during the early 1960s. In the late 1960s, that unit was reactivated and redesignated as the 50th Military Airlift Squadron, and assigned to the 61st Military Airlift Wing. The 50th MAS was only active from 8 January 1966 until 22 December 1969. Now's your chance to get this rare patch!
