Used Iisakki Järvenpää Aito puukko knife with original sheath I bought this knife from Ragweed Forge. Ragnar is a great person to do business with and carries a good selection of using/working knives. From Ragnar's website: "Iisakki Järvenpää is one of the leading suppliers of traditional knives in Finland. The knives are of high carbon steel tempered to 57-58 on the Rockwell Scale. Iisakki Järvenpää combines traditional styles with modern production methods to provide outstanding values. The blades are well ground and they are supplied with sturdy functional sheaths." Handle of compressed birch bark, not varnished. I waxed the handle with Renaissance Wax.Brass bolster and pommel with light patina. The patina on the pommel is kind of two-toned---I don't know why. This knife has been lightly used and carried a few times. Please note well: I sanded off the markings and blackening from the blade, ending with 800-grit. I filled in tiny gaps between blade and bolster with epoxy, but it could be cleaned up better with a small file, which I don't have. If this doesn't sit right with you, don't bid on it--- both you and I will be happier. The blade was wiped down with a Sentry Solutions Tuf Glide cloth.3-and-1/4-inch blade, 7-and-1/2-inch total lengthList Price $90 No longer made with birch bark handle; company has switched to leather read more
