This is a 3 year old Morning Pride Ben Franklin 2 model structural fire helmet. I bought this helmet used in 2004 though at the time it had seen no action. Since then, I have used it with my fire crew but it has seen only 3 training evolutions and no fire what so ever. I have since upgraded to a Leather helmet and decided to sell this one. LEGAL DISCLAIMER: Though this helmet is in sound condition as far as I can see, it is being sold "as is." Structural firefighting is an inntly dangerous occupation and tfore I must request that the buyer check with his or her Fire Department/Company Chief, Safety Officer, Captain or whomever is in charge of equipment issuing/distribution and make sure they are allowed to use this helmet BEFORE performing any structural firefighting evolutions, either interior or exterior with this helmet. T is no tag inside the helmet but it fits me well and I wear an adjustable size Large so I'm guessing it's that size. The ratchet strap is present and intact. The Bourke flip down eye shields are somewhat scuffed up but still useable. The Underwater Kinetics light is in working condition and I will throw in an opened box of AA batteries for the light. Please note, the leather front shield IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION. The helmet itself is in near mint condition with just some minor dust on it. The carved eagle finial is in great condition and shines brightly in the light. S&H will be $15.00 due to weight of the item.
