We have an original Vietnam issued USGI M6 Bayonet made for the .308 or 7.62x51 Springfield rifle. Our Bayonet-Knife is brand new in the original USGI military wrap, still sealed, just like it left the manufacture way back in 1968 right before the TET Offensive!!!!!!!!! Another rare feature of this bayonet is the date of a 1968, (making this a heavy US involvement year of production for the Vietnam Conflict) Issue production M-6 and being manufactured by Imperial, the Cadillac of all the M-6 contractors!!!!. Imperial is one of the original first issue contractors for the military and has made USGI banyonets since before WW2. Stamped on the tang is the manufacture Imperial plus the nomenclature U.S. M6. This type of military package has only the M-6 Bayonet Inside, and comes with no scabbard. Any NEW IN THE WRAP Vietnam era bayonets are getting very hard to come by let alone one from 1968.
