One US Marine Corps Korean War era herringbone twill cotton reversible camouflage cover for the M1 helmet. This is a real, original cover, not a repro, in overall very good used condition. This is a second pattern cover with the sewn button hole slits for foliage on the top. T are slits on each side for the chinstrap, a few small worn spots scattered around, but nothing major. The colors on both sides are strong and not faded and t are no spots, marks, or stains. The best part is the cover has a black ink stamped USMC emblem on both sides at the front. The emblem is the older style appropriate for WWII and is original to the cover. The helmet is also marked on the brown side on one of the flaps (see the photo) including a date of 1953. An excellent Korean War period Marine helmet cover. Please note that all sizes indicated are those marked on the garment and I make no guarantees that anything will fit anyone. These are old historic uniforms and I am selling them for collectors, not to wear. I have been collecting USMC uniforms and 782 gear from WWII through OIF for close to 25 years and I'm in the process of selling it all. If you're looking for something Marine, keep checking, I will probably list it.Winning bidder must make contact within seven (7) days and submit payment within ten (10) days or negative feedback will be left. read more
