US Marines relied on their 7" bowie blade fighting knives from WW2 through the Vietnam War. The knives were produced by a variety of makers, but were universally referred to by Marines as a "KA-BAR" (the original WW2 manufacturer.) These knives were also prized by LRRPs and other recon troopers for their high quality and robust construction. This USMC Marine Vietnam Early Camillus KA-BAR Fighting Knife is in excellent condition, with no sharpening or wear evident to the 7" bowie blade. It features a lustrous stacked brown leather washer "tootsie roll" handle, along with factory tight guard and pommel. It was produced by the legendary Camillus Cutlery Co. and bears their early 1960s stamping "US" over "CAMILLUS NY". With apologies to our valued international clients, we must restrict bidding to US bidders only. A great relic of "Uncle Sam in Vietnam". Now celebrating our 10th year on eBay. and please view our other great military and aviation classics, including an original US Army Vietnam M-51 Fishtail Cold Weather Parka in excellent condition and complete with the original genuine fur trimmed hood.
