US Marines in WW2 were issued the frogskin camo shelter half for use in the Pacific; it was reversible from a green dominant jungle side to a brown "beach" side, and two Marines could button their shelter halves together to form one "pup tent". Original USMC WW2 Frogskin Shelter Halves are extremely difficult to encounter today (though we do currently offer one under a separate listing), and so What Price Glory, the incomparable California military reproductions house, introduced a faithful rendition of this classic piece of Leatherneck gear. This USMC Marine US WW2 Pacific FROGSKIN CAMO SHELTER HALF is a high quality MODERN REPRODUCTION by the famous What Price Glory. It's in MINT, never used condition, and retains 100% of the bright, vibrant frogskin camouflage colors. It's constructed of tough 100% cotton duck, fully reversible from a green dominant "jungle" camo side to a brown dominant "beach" camouflage side, and is complete with all of the classic "pie tin" donut buttons. A fine rendition of a USMC Marine US WW2 Pacific FROGSKIN CAMO SHELTER HALF. Now celebrating over 10 years on eBay. and please view our other great military and aviation classics, including a pair of very rare, original British WW2 SAS Paratrooper Commando WINDPROOF CAMO COMBAT PANTS in excellent condition, broad arrow marked and dated 1944 on the original
