This is a rare late 1800's to early 1900's USMC Patrol or Fatigue Jacket. It was styles after the English Patrol jacket of nearly the sme era. Over all this is a great display peice but does have very limited mothing and fraying, most of which is located on the bottom edge of the left front lower section just below the front pocket and one pencil lead size hole just below the back collar. Some of the stitching for the mohair braiding is starting to break in spots, but overall is still holding strong for being over 100 years old. The shoulder epilets are missing thier mohair covered buttons, but with a little searching they could be replaced. It also has a ribbon bar with Spanish Campaign and Philippine Campaign. This tunic came from a very well known Marine Corps Collector in the southern California area and has been one in my personel collection for the past several years. With how rare it is to find a tunic like this, it would be a great addition to any USMC collection. Shipping is based ont the actual shipping address. Good luck and happy collecting.
