This very nice USMC RAIDER V-44 STYLE BOWIE KNIFE is in Excellent Condition and appears UNUSED, just some very fine scratches on the bright steel blade, the rest of the knife is near perfect. THIS KNIFE DOES NOT HAVE A MAKER STAMP ON IT ANY PLACE. I am not sure if this is a COLMAN WESTERN KNIFE or not, I have no way of telling, but it came in the COLEMAN WESTERN MARKED BROWN LEATHER SHEATH. The brown leather sheath has a COLEMAN WESTERN MARKED CLOSURE SNAP on the retaining strap and the brown leather sheath is stamped COLEMAN WESTERN on the outside throat area of the sheath. The sheath is still very nice, but it shows some staining, scuff marks and scratches on the throat area where this knife has rested and where is has been inserted what appears as several times. There is ONE BROKEN STITCH on the front edge near the tip area, see the picture where the point of the blade shows the broken stitch. The broken stitch is visible both on the front and back sides. Still a very nice older COLEMAN WESTERN marked sheath.
