USN Aircraft Carrier USS Lexington CV-2 1942
A detailed USN standard information blueprint drawing of the famous WW2 aircraft carrier USS Lexington CV-2. The USS Lexington was the second aircraft carrier built by the US Navy. She was designated to be a cruiser and her keel was laid at Fore River Shipyard in Quincy Mass. In early 1921 but by mid 1922 the Navy decided to build her into an aircraft carrier. She was launched in 1925 and went on to serve in WW2. She was sunk by a Japanese torpedo in the South Pacific at the Battle of the Coral Sea on May 8th 1942...She earned two battle stars for her service during WW2...blueprint drawing measures 13 inches x 30 inches and is produced on standard type blueprint paper....269.... This is not the original plan but a real blueprint made from an original.
