This is an original Angle of Attack indicator gauge instrument as used in the Grumman A-6 Intruder Aircraft Carrier Bomber. It is in good condition with no chips or cracks. It is marked angle of attack or AOA.. It is 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 x 7 inches. The A-6 Intruder made its combat debut during the Vietnam War. It continued to serve this country until the 1990's. Today the A-6 is retired but its big brother the EA-6B still serves. I flew the A-6 from 1978 until 1981 aboard the USS Forrestal.This gauge was also used in several other USN and USAF fighters and bombers such as the F-4 , A-7, T-2. This would be a great item for someone who likes Vietnam War items, Flight of the Intruder , pilot equipment, and the movie Top Gun. this item is being sold as a collectable.We accept payment by PayPal in US dollars only.
