This is a "Rare" , Late 1950's to Early 1960's USN version of the MS-22001 oxygen mask with the mini regulator / redar hose attached . It also comes with a "Hardman " mask retention and "christmastree" style bayonets ! It is a size Small . The mask is dated 1955 . The mini regulator is Mfg'd by Firewell . The data plate reads - Firewell Co. inc - part no. 1732 ?? - spec. no. 7442974 - serial no. 424 . Note the fitting on the end of the hose ,is a very early style "Redar " connector ! This type was used in the Skyhawk as well as the Crusader during the late 50's . See Breuningers - Jet Age Flight Helmets - page 97 - for a similar setup . Please see my other items for sale , for the pilots Torso Harness that is specially modified by the rigger , just for this mask setup ! They originally came together !
