Just in time for the Army-Navy football game and the holidays, up for auction is a mint condition Wedgwood "Airplane View From East" Naval Academy commemorative edition plate. Highly collectible and rare in this condition. If you'd like more info on the history of these Wedgwood USNA plates, send me a question and I will have my wife fill you in since she knows more about them than I have patience to write...good luck and send me questions if you have them. It has come to my knowledge that this plate is technically not a "commemorative edition" by definition and should be properly labeled as "dinner ware"...yes, technically you could eat off it. But as rare as these are, and in mint condition like this, I'd recommend you don't use it for serving chow. Just hang it on the wall and admire it, but this is a country of free will and personal amibitions that need to be met, so if you win the bid feel free to do whatever you please with it. Thanks.
