Up for bid is a U.S.S. Nimitz CVN-68 Carrier MediterraneanCruise Book 1991-93. Not a DVD - A beautiful book weighing in at almost 6 lbs. and 496 pages details the crew, the ship and its "Med" cruise. The Nimitz is one of America's great Carriers. Built in 1968. Christened in May 1975. It was America's largest war ship. The ship is powered by two Nuclear Reactors driving four engines, which propels the ship at more that 30 knots. Its flight deck is 4.5 acres and almost 110 feet long. It accommodates 6100 people. This is a beautiful book with great pictures. Very fitting for such beautiful Carrier as the Nimitz. Please note I have 2 other Nimitz Cruise books up for bid. Books were owed by the same sailor.
