Offered for auction I have a vintage original WWII Era Cruise Book. Titled "THE PANTHER STRIKES...." published by the officers and crew of the USS San Juan as a permanent record of the ships activities during WWII deployment. There are a lot of great photos and illustrations. This is a great book for the Naval collector. This book features ship construction and launching, commanding Officer G.W. Buhan- crossing the line- battle WWII action- USS enterprise under attack- Liberty at Japan- Last Jap deployment, etc. This book has slight soiling and wear on the corners. Also the first page shows some separation from the binding but all the other pages are in tact and not loose. Shipping is $4.00 media rate. Thanks for looking!
