Here is a Custom Weathered Walthers UTLX 16,000 GALLON DUPONT FUNNEL FLOW TANK CAR that has been Custom Detailed and Weathered by Red Pine Precision Modeling .This will make a great addition to any modern layout and will be quite a "Conversation Piece" !! The car has been "Faded out" then added layers of Dirt, grime, rust with acid deteriation to the top of the car. This all has been accomplished with a variety of mediums (oils) until I felt it was about right. I had a couple of photos of similar cars for referral and developed the rust patterns and shapes. All paint has been custom mixed Floquil Solvent based paint. All weathering including rusted areas and scratches I've added to represent hard use were OILS (NO CHALKS and NO AIRBRUSHING). This model meets NMRA weight stadards.
