S.V.F - Best Grade Moldavite specimen 5.47 grams or 27.35ct Description Moldavite specimen from Bohemia, Czech Republic Moldavites are found in the Czech Republic, Austria and occasionally Germany, they originate from the Ries Impact crater in Germany which has been dated to 14.7 million years old This piece is from Chlum, Czech Republic . and is a beautiful shape and has interesting ablations and beautiful form. Do not confuse these beautiful three dimensional specimens with some of the cheaper thin flakes that are available. This Moldavite is a stunning specimen If you wanted to carve a piece this would be a great piece to work.
