ABOUT OUR AUCTIONS: Hi everyone, thanks for taking a look at our items. Over the next couple weeks we will be selling off some of our finest examples out of our private collection. Some Amazingly Rare and Quality items so please bookmark our site if you like what you see, t is more to come! If you haven't seen our items before it is nice to know we have Never Had a Reserve on one item Ever, no matter what it is!!!We also try and start everything off nice and low usually under 20.00 to give everyone a great chance at a nice treasure! Also just to let you know if you see more than one item you like, we give great combined shipping deals, usually at least 50% lower for the second item. Thank you to all our great customers, we hope to hear form you again soon, all the best! ITEM: Up for auction is a Very Early Japanese Carved Ivory Figure. The Ivory Figure is part of a Large Japanese and Chinese Period Arts Collection up for auction, as you can see in the last 2 pictures. Most of the items listed are out of my Parents Private Collection with some Very Fine period examples. A few months back we auctioned off a small portion of items out of the collection online that brought very much interest, and now we have decided to list some more. I do not know a great deal about the carving out of my parents collection. I am sure it is a Very Early example as you can see. The Ivory is also very well carved throughout, and has a nice form and subject. The Ivory Carving also has a nice Rich Period Patina. As you can see the Ivory is fully carved all around with nice details including a Pouch Filled with items, a Belt, Robe decorations, ect. The Ivory is also in very fine original condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. As you can see t are some age lines, which it should have being a very early example. The Ivory Carving is also a nice size, and I believe would be referred to as a Okimono measuring 5 1/4 inches tall, by 2 inches wide, and 1 inch thick. I have no idea what the Very Early Japanese Ivory Carving would be worth. It would be worth some time to research the piece and try and find a similar example, I am sure being this early and well carved it would be quite a desirable example. As usual we just start all my items off low, and will let you decide. Like a Real Auction should be!! The Fine Early Japanese Ivory Figural Okimono Carving would make an great addition to any collection, and I am sure is also an excellent investment piece. BEST OF LUCK WITH THE AUCTION! SHIPPING: Shipping is Quoted Below for All the USA,Canada, and Worldwide! We have professional help with packaging, so your parcels will be packaged properly. We can also upgrade your parcels to Fedex Express Air if desired. HISTORY: I am selling a Large amount of items collected over fifty years by myself, and my husband.
