ABOUT OUR AUCTIONS: Hi everyone,thanks for taking a look at our items. Over the next week we will be listing some fine examples from our collection. You rarely see collections like this come up for auction on ebay these days, and all with No Reserve. Please be sure to add us to your favorites list , we do have more treasures still to come! If you haven't seen our auctions before it is nice to know we have Never Had a Reserve on one item ...Ever, no matter what it is! We also start everything off nice and low always under 15.00 to give everyone a great chance at a nice treasure. Also if you see more than one item you like, we give great combined shipping deals, always at least 50% lower for the second item and even lower for more items. ITEM: Up for auction is a Very Rare c1880 Indian Lucknow Solid Silver Enamel Peacock Bird Figure. The Peacock Figure is part of a Large Collection of Silver and other Fine Quality Estate items up for auction, as you can see in the last picture. We have had the Peaock in our collection for many years. We have never come across another example quite like it, I believe being a Very Rare find. The Peacock is Completely Hand Made of Solid Silver with Amazing Details throughout. As you can see the Peacock also has amazing Vibrant Enamel Hand Painted Colors, and Jewels to the wings. The Peacock is also a nice size measuirng 8 1/4 inches tall, by 10 inches long, and 4 inches wide at the base. The Peacock is a quality weight of 920 grams on our postal scale. The Peacock is also in fine original condition with some small enamel loss, but no major damage, cracks, or repairs. The only other example we have seen was in a Bonhams auction years ago with an auction estimate of 3500-4000.00 as you can see in the bottom picture, which I believe it actually sold over the high estimate. We have Never had a Reserve on one item..Ever and we do not plan on starting any time soon! The Figure will be sold to the high bidder regardless of the high bid price. I do know it may be some time before you see another example quite like this, and with No Reserve. The Very Fine Rare c1880 Indian Lucknow Solid Silver Enamel Peacock Bird Figure would make a great addition to any collection, and is also an excellent investment piece.
