This auction is for 7 Val St Lambert heavy crystal plates, Balmoral pattern, 7 3/4" , nearly a quarter inch thick!, very heavy, and new. All are new unused and 6 of them read "Val St Lambert" near the outer edge of their center (see pic), lasered into the glass by the manufacturer, are immaculate, no problems, 4 have their original gold tags reading, Val St Lambert, Cristal Belguim Depose and were bought at the site and brought back - their black boxes have long since been lost. 2 others are the same situation but their tags were removed for use at a wedding reception but they also were never used. These were the best of the best, held back when the rest were sold. These are all we have left to sell. So, 4 with tags, 2 without, all matching, all in mint shape. The last one was purchased separately years later, just reads, "Val" and arrived with an edge chip. It is being included more or less for free and can still be used to hold a candle or whatever. It has same weight, same thickness, differing inscription, the edge chip, but still very pretty. I had it in the bathroom with a candle and daisies for the last two years. The cushiony zippered china container will be included in the shipment with these 7 plates but stuck in the shipment separately for your use later since each of these plates will be carefully and extra bubblewrapped and protected in between and shipped in large box with peanuts for extra cushion. Insurance is included in the shipping weight. These 7 plates, unboxed and unwrapped weigh in together at a whopping ten pounds by themselves! These plates are the balmoral pattern, straight from the manufacturer (except the 7th) many years back and sell currently on for $60.00 each.
