Item up for bid is a beautiful #28 bowl and matching #30 frog by Van Briggle circa 1940. The Bowl is approximately 8 1/2" long, 5 1/2" wide and 3 1/4" tall. The frog is 4" x 2 1/2" x 2 1/2". The pieces are in the tulip pattern with a matte mulberry finish with a slight bluegreen overspray. Neither piece has any chips, cracks or repairs . The bowl has a water stain and a several rub marks. The frog has one small rub mark and a pinhole glaze skip that is not a chip. I believe the rub marks and water stain could be cleaned off.
