This is a beautiful vase from Van Briggle pottery. It is made in beautiful shades of blue. It looks very old. My father inherited this piece from his father. The bottom is marked Van Briggle and what looks like SPGS. It also has a symbol at the top of the markings that I hope you can see in the photo. I do not see any damage to the piece. The last picture I found on the Van Briggle website. It appears to be the same piece, but the one I have looks a little darker. Please email if you have questions or would like more pictures. I am selling this for my father. My mother passed away and he has sold his house and is ready to move. He does not want to part with this piece, but his new space is small. I found the following information on the Van Briggle website: Van Briggle Pottery, established in 1899, is one of the oldest active art potteries in the United States. Founded by Artus Van Briggle, of Holland Dutch descent, Van Briggle Pottery has been considered one of the great American art potteries for over a century.
